Search engine optimization (referred to in the industry as SEO) is the use of search engines to draw traffic to a web site or sites. SEO usually involves attaining a higher ranking in search engines.
There are two styles of SEO: On site and Off site. On site SEO is manipulating code in your website to make it more prominent and therefore more search engine friendly. Off site SEO involves raising your ranking level in the search engines by using other websites.
